ACTION: Stop The Summit Campaign is Stepping Up - NEW DEMOS ANNOUNCED :)
The World Dairy Summit is less than two weeks away.
CAWDS have released more details of actions during the summit with more to follow.
Saturday 6th Nov:
More Propaganda Making
We need your help!! Come prepare for the World Dairy Summit this weekend by painting banners and placards, making props and learning more about the actions!
BRING: any material, cardboard, paint, spray paint, creative stuff you have (but we will supply lots also!), slogan and banner ideas, friends, snacks :)

Sunday 7th Nov:
Come along to a vegan pot luck dinner and hear about the plans for the summit, learn about more actions and discuss any legal questions you might have. If you were planning on coming to any of the demos during the Summit or are going to organise your own solidarity actions you should come along.

Monday 8th Nov:

Tuesday 9th Nov:

11.30 - onwards rally outside Skycity
Wednesday 10th Nov:

12.00 noon - Office demo at the Gold Sponsor Orica
Where: 123 Carlton Gore Road, New Market
Thursday 11th Nov:
8am - 9am outside Skycity
7pm – Debrief and dinner following the conclusion of the Summit.
Bring a plate of yummy vegan food and come hang out with your new, and old, comrades, discuss how the week has been and anything else you may want to share.
Where: Cityside, 8 Mt Eden Road.

EVENT: Action for Animals Summer Camp
When: January 28th - 31st 2011
Where: Foxton Beach
This camp aims to offer those interested in animal rights, as well as those already involved, new skills and knowledge so that they can better advocate for animals, organise and participate in actions against animal abuse, carry out investigations into animal abuse industries and handle and rehome animals in need.

EVENT: World Vegan Day Picnic
When: 6pm Monday 1st November
Where: Albert Park Band Rotunda, Auckland CBD
November 1st is World Vegan Day!
Come celebrate with us this year with a potluck picnic at Albert Park Band Rotunda! Bring vegan food to share, blankets, cushions and friends! There will be acoustic performances by local vegan artists.
EVENT: March and Demonstration Against Whaling
Where: Maritime Museum to the Consulate General of Japan - ASB Bank Centre Level 12/129-135 Albert St.
When: Friday 5th November 2pm
Come along on Nov 5th and help support this really important cause! We will have whalesong, info & photos from last year's whaling season and a crew member from the Ady Gil will be there to answer any questions!

EVENT: AR Lounge – FOOD INC – The last one for 2010!
Where: Cityside, 8 Mt Eden Road
When: November Wednesday 17th , 7pm (we have moved this back one week due to the World Dairy Summit)
Food, Inc. is a 2008 American documentary film directed by Emmy Award-winning filmmaker Robert Kenner. The film examines corporate farming in the United States, concluding that agribusiness produces food that is unhealthy in a way that is abusive of animals and environmentally harmful.
This is a must see film so if you have not seen it already you should DEFINATELY come along.
